God wants us involved with people and impacting their lives - no matter where they live. Acts 1:8 tells us, "you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere - in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Grace Church supports six local outreach organizations as well as 12 national and global outreach ministries. We have been blessed with a rich history of "going out" to non-churched people groups.
Hurricane Harvey Relief Update
It's been about a month since Hurricane Harvey made landfall on the shores of east Texas. We asked for your assistance in helping raise financial support to assist with the immediate needs and the response was a blessing, so thank you! We have started to work with the organization Reach Global, which is the EFCA Crisis Response Ministry. Our first team will head down to Corpus Christi during the first weekend in November. Once this team returns and reports on the needs and Reach Global's process of working with teams, we will announce our formal plans on sending teams on a regular basis. There will be a need for the next few years and we want to partner with Reach Global to help make in impact right now as well as years from now when support may be less available. Please continue to pray for God's glory to shine to all of those living through the restoration of their homes and communities.

Dominican Republic Summer Camp 2017
Thank you for praying for and contributing financially to the Dominican Republic Mission Trip. The trip was much more than the week we were on the island. Our hope was to help build mission-minded people who will make missions part of their normal lives.
While we know we are called to be flexible, we also had several different plans in place, both in the province of Barahona and in the capital city, Santo Domingo. A church building was started in Ojeda and we did some construction there the first day of the trip. We also traveled back to Santo Domingo, working a 3-day camp, with students from Pastor Julio's church. This is the 3rd year Grace has participated and helped lead a camp for these students.
