New to Grace?

Who We Are

Grace Church is part of an association of churches known as the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). While we are autonomous in our structures and leadership, as part of the EFCA, Grace Church is in agreement with the ten points of the statement of faith.

The Mission of Grace Church is to reach people for Christ and help those who believe in Christ become more like Him.

Core Values

Biblical faithfulness

The overriding core value of Grace Church is to remain Biblically Faithful. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is without error; that God’s Word is the ultimate source of truth and direction for life. Whether in Grace Worship, Little Blessings, etc, we are called to present the Word of God accurately, and with relevance.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Spiritual growth

The community of Grace is committed to both individual and corporate spiritual growth

Ephesians 4:12-14 tells us our shared responsibility is…
“to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.”

People investment

The community of Grace believes that people are God’s priority so people are our priority. We are committed to investing in people in the name of Christ.

"We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters." I John 3:16

Outreach focused

The community of Grace is committed to sharing our relationships with Christ with others. Matthew 28:19 says, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." Holding to this value, our ministries are developed with an ‘outward’ focus, rather than ‘inward’ focus. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to use our voices and ministries to impact the world.
